🌼 भावार्थ
वेद में नारी का जो गौरव, प्रतिष्ठा, मान और सम्मान है वह संसार के अन्य साहित्य में कहीं भी नहीं है। प्रस्तुत मन्त्र में एक नारी की अपने सम्बन्ध में प्रबल सिंहगर्जना है।
English: The Vedas give unparalleled respect and dignity to women. This mantra expresses the powerful self-confidence of a woman.
१. अरे! यह शत्रु मुझे अबला समझता है । सुन, कान खोलकर सुन! मैं अबला नहीं हूँ, सबला हूँ। समय-समय पर नारियों ने अपनी वीरता के जौहर दिखाए हैं। झांसी की रानी को कौन भूल सकता है?
English: The enemy considers me weak, but I am strong. Women have shown bravery throughout history—who can forget the courage of Rani Lakshmibai?
२. मैं वीर-पत्नी हूँ।
English: I am the wife of a brave warrior.
३. मैं कायरों, भीरुओं के साथ मैत्री नहीं करती, उनके साथ सहानुभूति नहीं रखती, अपितु जो मरने-मारने के लिए तैयार रहते हैं उन्हें ही अपना सखा बनाती हूँ।
English: I do not associate with cowards; I stand with the brave who are ready to face life and death courageously.
४. मेरा पति इतना वीर है कि संसार में उस-जैसा कोई दूसरा वीर नहीं है।
English: My husband is so courageous that none in the world can match his bravery.
